Infrastructure Systems, Not Products
Infrastructure systems must be validated before they are scaled.
NAMOS – National Modular Solutions is announcing a deliberate narrowing of execution focus for the 2026–2027 period. Rather than advancing multiple innovation concepts simultaneously, NAMOS is concentrating engineering, field and institutional effort on a limited number of flagship systems that can be validated under real municipal and industrial conditions.
This decision reflects a core institutional position: infrastructure is judged by evidence, not by announcements. Pilot validation, measured performance and documented field data must precede scale-up, commercialization and replication.
Current execution priorities
Execution is anchored in the NAMOS Waste Platform, the domain where the organisation holds the deepest system architecture and the clearest municipal demand. Within that platform, two flagship validation pathways are active.
- NAMOS Waste Platform — the parent platform architecture for municipal and industrial resource systems
- NAMOS-SLD™ — Mobile Sludge Dewatering Unit, municipal infrastructure validation framework
- URRU-B™ — Universal Resource Recovery Unit, Battery Recovery Application, technical validation pathway
1. NAMOS-SLD™ — Mobile Sludge Dewatering Unit
NAMOS-SLD™ is a mobile, skid-mounted sludge dewatering system designed for municipal sewage treatment plants, septage management operations and decentralised sanitation infrastructure. Its validation program is structured as a municipal infrastructure framework: site assessment, operating protocol definition, performance measurement and documented handover of results to the responsible authority.
Status: Pilot Readiness and Municipal Validation.
2. URRU-B™ — Battery Recovery Application
URRU-B™ applies the Universal Resource Recovery Unit architecture to end-of-first-life battery streams. Intake assessment determines whether a pack is routed to reuse, second-life storage, module recovery or material recovery, with safety, containment and handling requirements embedded directly into the module specification.
Status: Technical Review and Validation Pathway.
Why focus matters
- Validation before expansion — no new domain is opened until an active program produces field evidence
- Evidence before commercialization — performance data, not projections, supports procurement discussions
- Pilot-first philosophy — every system is proven at one site before it is offered for replication
For municipal authorities, evaluators and investors, this focus makes the NAMOS roadmap legible. What is being validated now, what remains in the innovation inventory, and what evidence will be published are stated openly rather than blended into a single portfolio narrative.
The long-term vision remains unchanged
NAMOS remains a modular infrastructure platform company. The wider portfolio across resource recovery, water, public health, climate resilience, agricultural technology and AI infrastructure remains part of the long-term innovation inventory, with its architecture and documentation maintained.
Current execution, however, is intentionally concentrated on flagship validation programs. Additional systems will move from inventory into active execution as the current programs complete their validation milestones.
Closing statement
The next milestone for NAMOS is not additional concepts. The next milestone is evidence, pilot deployment and real-world validation.
